For Chef T and Monty, this venture is more than just a business; it's a testament to their resilience and dedication to the Indianapolis community. After facing challenges during the pandemic and the closure of their previous location at City Market, they are excited to continue serving their patrons in this new space.
“Now located inside Central Library, T Street Eatz remains committed to serving our community with fresh, quality, flavorful menu items and exceptional service,” said Claytor. “Your support helps us continue to rebuild and keep serving—one ingredient at a time.”
The addition of T Street Eatz Café aligns with the library's mission to enhance the visitor experience by providing convenient amenities. Elizabeth Schoettle, Central Library director, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, “Bringing a café to Central Library has been a priority. T Street Eatz adds so much to our space, giving visitors the chance to enjoy coffee and warm food while taking advantage of our books, programs, and services.”
As downtown Indianapolis continues to evolve, the opening of T Street Eatz Café represents a positive development in the local food scene and a boost for community-focused businesses in the area.
